At 15 years old, he was one of the first students of that age to be accepted into the renowned Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, in the bachalor class in piano, with professor Sergey Kuznetsov.

He has performed in major national and international concert halls, and has acted as soloist with major orchestras under renowned national and international conductors. He is currently a professor at the music course "Viva a Música Clássica - A Rainha de todas as Artes". 

Until 2019, he studied with pianist Olga Kiun. He started his piano studies at the age of 5, at the age of 9 he gave his first solo recital, and since then, he has won first prizes in several national and international competitions, among them the X and Xl Edna Bassetti Habbith competition, and the prize for best performer of Brazilian music by the composer Villa Lobos, the Souza Lima National Competition and the Hors Concours award, Mackenzie National Competition, Goiânia Symphony Orchestra Young Soloists Competition, the 11 Yamaha Piano Competition, and also won the TV Cultura Prelude Competition in 201 7, where he was awarded with a 3-year scholarship at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Budapest/Hungary. ln 2018 he won 2nd place in the Santa Cecília Intemational Competition in the city of Porto/ Portugal.

Internationally awarded

With an outstanding trajectory, Estefan Iatcekiw has been acclaimed by the public and critics, and has been pointed out as the great revelation of the Brazilian piano scene. 

Some awards received:
  • 1st place at IV International Rachmaninov Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Germany.
  • 1st place at TV Cultura Prelude Competition in Brazil.
  • 1st place at Yamaha Piano Competition in Brazil.
  • Laureate of Santa Cecília International Competition in Porto/ Portugal.
  • Laureate of Rachmaninov Competition in Moscow/Russia.

Apresentou-se em grandes salas de concerto nacionais e internacionais, e atuou como solista com grandes orquestras sob a regência de renomados maestros nacionais e internacionais. Atualmente é professor do curso de música “Viva a Música Clássica – A Rainha de todas as Artes”.

From 2020, Estefan was honored in a social project, in which he actively acts as vice president, to support new young talents in classical music, which is the "Estefan Iatcekiw Musical Scholarship", which aims to encourage and disseminate classical music through talented scholars who have difficulties in developing their musical studies due to lack of their own resources. The purpose is to offer a qualified study for talented students who aspire to pursue a musical career.
